has anyone got these as i have put my car into my dads garage to get it ready to be painted. smoothed the front and rear bumpers. side indicators and badge on boot!
BUT and its a big but!!! the doors are like paper and a dont think we will be able to weld them without worping them!! just to see if anyones done it!
and to see what ppls opinions are on just keeping the stripes on and painting them??
i will get some pics and start a progress thread anyway...
cheers for reading

It's been done but I don't think by anyone in this country (on this forum any how). Unless UK_Polo_GTI did it.
Have a look around polo9n.com ... or .info or what ever it is... I'll be corrected shortly

Smoothing the doors shouldn't give too many dramas if done right... should be able to MIG without warps, and a decent flexi filler should work fine - but you would need a lot of it and it would be half hearted way of doing it that may crack long term!
Colour coded side strips are my preference (My Mercarto 9n - post) and there are plenty of good pics of other people's rides with them done - they look good on silver car!
