Golf VR6 gear knob fit into 6n polo?

Hello people,

Will the Golf VR6 gear knob able to fit into the 6N Polo?? I know about the mk4 gear knob would, but not sure about VR6 ones... Any comments welcome... Cheers

Come on people... I am sure one of you may have some ideas!! Please help... I am really keen to change it into the VR6 leather one....
