i use toyos on both my G40 and my vento and am very pleased with them! i'd imagine them to be a bit cheaper than the dunlops but don't take my word for it! i have had no experience with dunlops yet, so hopefully somone can give you some info on them!

try http://www.mytyres.co.uk/ they have pretty reasonable prices!

I've been running the Dunlops for about 16months now, and I haven't been hugely impressed by them. They're not bad, but fot the price they cost dry grip levels aren't massive, they don't have much feel or bite to them and generally I don't feel 100% confident in them.

I haven't tried the Toyos, so sadly I can't give you a back-to-back comparison there. But as noted they tend to be a lot cheaper than the Dunlops. They've got a pretty good reputation for affordable performance tyres, so I'd be more inclined to go with them.

Couple of other options are Continental SportContact 2 and Pirelli P Zero Nero, but both of these are rather expensive options.

I got both tyre types

Toyo's on the Schmidt's (Summer)
Dunlop's on the D90's (Winter)

and I would have to say that the toyo's are 10x times better than the Dunlop's, due to them being a softer compound than the Dunlop's which means flying round Round-A-Bouts are great and the grip is fantastic.

The Dunlop's on the other hand are rubbish as you don't have much feel and grip due to the harder compound and I'm not that confident in them.

Good to hear it's not just me with that opinion of them! I'll be looking elsewhere when it comes to replacing the two I need.

I'd choose the dunlops, only because I want to do more than 10k on a set of tyres....
