5 stud alloys??

has ne1 fitted 5 stud alloys on a 4 stud polo? is it costly to do?

quite simple to do, you can buy adapters to do this, but obviously they move the wheel further out.

or you can get 5 stud hubs but that's costly.....

True, you need to have lower offset wheels to compensate for the adapters. They normally are about 25mm so you need to run wheels that have at least 25mm off the offset! Think you should be looking about £100 for a pair of adapters.
