putting an MK5 splitter on an MK4? any1 got 1 for sale?

seen a few Mk4 polos with MK5 splitters and it looks absoultely awesome, but been told "some trimming will be required" can any1 clarify what "some trimming" will be? its for a 16 valve bumoer btw. and does any1 have a standard splitter 4 sale?

do you mean the GTI spliter for the mk5 or just the standard splitter?

got a mk5 standard splitter hanging around in my garrage.

the standard splitter looks pretty borring, cant imagine it looks that cool.

have you got any pics?

may consider selling mine.

Yes they do, they need a bit of trimming though I think. Loads of MK4s on Club Polo have GTi splitters.

yeah that is a GTI splitter not a standard splitter.

the standard splitter is very small

can you see the difference? The GTi is a bigger lip that is about 3-4inches deep.

ahhhh yes it is the gti i was after, any1 know roughly what one of these costs and how easy it is to fit on mine? cheers

Not sure how to fit it though..

Yeah i would be the same dude.
Some one must have done a DIY guide for this some where?
