Rear Strip .. Ahstetic options ??

Post by PoloPower »

Just taken the rear seats out ... Spare tyre ext ...

Makes my car so much more fun to drive .. all that weight gone form the back .. more on the front .. Loving it ..

Ahsteeically it dosent do the job for me though ...

ANyone else stripped there rear seat s out .. What kinda things can you do to cheer up the mass of cavitys and paintwork in need of a good tcut and polish ..

Can i be arsed to tcut and polish the whole interior shell ... Hmmm .. Me thinks nope ... Maywell have to though i supose ..

Anyone know of any cheeky lightweight things you can do to chear up the rear end when people are gazing through the windows ...

Like the fact that my car dosent rattle anymore too ... I do have a few holes and bolts wear my aftermarket exhaust has been retrofitted several times ...

Darn tuned 1L keeps wreking the engine mountings ...

Rocks like nowt else i have seen ... Have to be easy on thew clutch or it has a real problem ...

yeah i stripped mine out and put and ice install in and sound deadend all the rear with expanding foam and sound deadending pads.
you could go for the look like dan krebs gone for with a rear top strut brace and have the inside re-painted.

this is a pic of mine. it was a bit dirty when i took the picture plus i was getting it ready for the re paint that i did.

Cheers for the idea anyways ..

carpeted false floor? would look pretty uncluttered and would keep the weight down

I think thats the one ...

Just sanded everything down and started to spray the inide black ...

Want it to all match the seats dash and interior roofing .

Going to try and get me some carpet .. GOing to be difficult to cut to size however .

I can use the old spare tyre cover to cut the boot out ... The rear seat wont be too difficult i supose .
