i have managed to get hold of a bmc filter just the filter for me 1.4 8V
and need some advice and help on the other bits!
i need a 90 degree reducing bend 70mm to 50mm i think (would be useful if somebody could confirm this!
2 breather filters again not sure on sizes but i think they are 10mm and 19mm could somebody confirm? i got the diameters from the k&n fitting instructions but they are inside diameters is that what i need? heres the link
http://www.kandn.com/instructions/57-0554.pdf
and a cold air feed where is the cheapest place to get all these bits and which bits should i get
best quote i had on the elbow is just abit over 20 quid delivered
and im totally lost with the breathers!
any help would be much appreciated im lost!!

The 90 degree bend tube size is 70mm Diameter, well for the GTI it is and the breather size is 16mm.
And for cold air tubing I used
this just type cold air feed in eBay.
Check the
thread here for help on fitting.

take off your airbox and measure the diameter. if it is 50mm you would need the 70>50mm reducing bend. The breather filters fit inside the pipe, so the measurement you would need to do would be for the internal diameter of the breather pipe...
if these can be confirmed I'll work out a price for everything you need...

yes they are the green breathers... BMC don't make their breather filters in those sizes or provide reducing bends which is why there is not an official kit.
