got my new set of 15" wheels, lowering the car 60mm on friday but the guy doing it reckons it may rub... how likely is this? If it does rub what shall i do? The wheels look amaziing dont wanna go abck to 14s, and low profiles look a bit gash imo, so what do u reccomend? just wait till friday and see if they actually do rub before getting into a hish (wot?) Also how much can i look at paying to get my wheels balanced, tracked and cambered?

Na, you should be ok, mine's on 15's and lowered 80mm. Does scrub but only on hard cornering (emphasize HARD).

What is the offset and rim width of your new wheels and what width/profile tyres will you be running?

scrubs on cornering or bombing down the motorway at 120mph but you should be fine with 195/45/15s

You actually like the huge side walls? Makes the alloys look smaller and not as sporty :?

naa no way 15" rims lowered 60mm will rub cos there is a slight gap between the wheel and the wheel arch so it will not rub

got it lowered today. Its on a £140 suspenion kit from jackson tuning (phil j) which is a nasty cheap peice of sh!t. Granted, it looks damn cool, but it squeaks horrifically over every bump, rubs when i go into a dip in the road and is generally loose and shoddy. Am getting the tracking and camer sorted tommorw which hopefulyl will improve.

Alun, when you get chance can you measure from the ground to the top of your arch for me. I don't actually know how much mine is down by so it should give me an idea.

PM me with the measurement please mate, cheers :D
