For the amount of work there Hollie, I'd say it's not too bad.
Might be worth seeing if you can get the VAT knocked off though

that sounds like a pretty good price to me hollie, i got quoted £1600 for a respray in pearl black which it is already, and theres not even any damage, just loads of light scratches and bits where the laqour had come off. If you know its a top job your getting done then £1700 sounds like a good price to me considering your getting some smoothing etc done

i have seen some of their work and i've had loads of people say they are good so i think this is a reasonably fair quote for the amount of work that will be done!
they said they'd have the car for like 3 weeks so to me that means they will take their time and do everything properly!

As Joe says really, just ask them nicely if they'll knock the VAT off for cash. Not everywhere will but quite a few places do, the way I look at it is you don't know until you ask

Daniel phoned up today to get a requote, changed my mind on what i wanted doing
Decided to stick with white and get the roof done gloss black and side mirrors the same, Only dropped the price by £73 wasn't that happy. Asked them to scrap the smoothing and explained that im using my 21st birthday money from my parents £1000 and that ive gotta put the rest to it, got the price down to £1400!!!!!!
Gonna be a great 21st birthday present!!
All thanks to Daniel!!

What is it you're getting done now then Hollie?
Just the white respray, with the gloss black roof and mirrors and the rust removal.
