Looks good on just the bonnet but do the roof jet black and that looks better. I was going to do my hole car matt black, looks stunning on smoothed off cars with a lot of curves BUT do a bad job and you'll ruin the hole project

if you black the bonnet, at least you can get another one easily if you don't like it or you want to change the car.
if you black the roof.... well you've got to be sure about it!
black bonnets can look great on the right cars (i.e above in this thread) but they can also look like a carbon fibre wannabe on the wrong cars...

Actually you mite be interested in saving up and getting a carbon fibre bonnet, think they're round 300-500ish these days (anyone have any clues cos its a future plan for me)
If you'd rather not or can't then do the bonnet black and C wot you think.

don't laugh at this idea but you could always cover the bonnet and roof in matt black vinyl , do it well, so you can really get an idea how it will look, and if you like it take off the vinyl and paint, if not, just take off the vinyl! comes off easy enough if you do it right

whats the point in spending all that money on a carbon fibre bonnet when you can buy a mk2 gti engine and lob it in for the same price!?
