JL 500/1 Amp users I need your help,

Iv just had my 2*10 JL W3 D4 and 500/1 amp wired and fitted in the trunk of my car but the bloke down the audio shop who installed it all didnt configure the amp properly and suggested I play around with it to see what suits me.

Iv tried a little but am not too sure what I should set all the settings at.I just want whatever configuration would sound the best with the two 10's in my situation.

Anyone with this amp, what do you recommend?

I have a Alpine H/U, is there any settings I should configure?

But mainly what should I set the following to?

INFRASONIC FILTER
INFROSONIC FREQ(HZ)
'Q'
BASS EQ
CENTER FRE
BOOST[DB]
AMP LP FILTER
FILTER FREQ (HZ)
INPUT VOLTAGE
INPUT SENS(GAIN? )

or any other switches etc...

Please guys I look forward to some useful insight, am dying to set it all up properly and enjoying my set up. Thanks in advance!

I'd love to help mate, but I'm still not good at the tech side myself :(

I see you've asked on Talk Audio though, it may be a bit quieter than normal this weekend though as there's a show on :D

They should be able to help though.

I run a Pioneer but I'm sure there's no bass boost used on mine.

Bass, Mid and High are all set to 0

The bloke I get all my audio fom had a play around with it.
