1litre and 1.3 polo

what is the difrence in speed with a 1 litre polo and a 1.3 is it alot or not plus im only 17 is insurance cheap on a 1.3 if any1 noes and would help me out cheers poloboy

probly not alot mate lol , ive the 1.3 and there is just nooo power at all lol, insurance would defo be cheaper on a 1l for a first car

www.parkers.co.uk you can compare all the specs and look at the insurance groups as well. my old polo was a 1.4, wasnt too bad really. 1st polo i drove was my mums 1.4 automatic that was a joke

Depends on how you drive it and what u mod on the engine
Mine could take on and beat a 1.6 mk4 with just a camshaft from a Polo mk3 GT and cold-air induction with higher fuel pressure

I always laughed my arse off when I saw those surprised faces when they couldn't keep up

another one standing up for the 1.3 here too. i liked mine.
there are 2 models of the 1.0, earlier (1.5) had 45bhp while later (995cc) had 50bhp. The 1.3 has 55bhp.

the 1.3 aint too terrible on pull off as it goes its jus top end really

I'd have thought you'd be better off getting a 1 litre purely because you can get a newer model with less miles on it. unless I'm mistaken it's only the early mk4s that had 1.3 engines in them?

all true, but, conversely, he could probably pick up a 1.3 for less money
