It'd be useful to see the contents of your "Run" list in the Registry if possible...

Click Start then Run. Type "regedit" and Enter then in the Registry window you will see a form of folder list down the left of the screen.

Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > Software > Microsoft > Windows > CurrentVersion > Run

In the right-hand window you now see a list of items. Post these up and we can identify the one(s) that are causing the problem.

Also, as this sounds a bit like a form of browser hijack, can you not use Windows Defender to restore the IE search page/home page etc?

Cheers
