I thaught this would look cool but I saw one once and it just looked like a normal black polo that had been attacked with wet and dry paper

I was thinking of doing the same, after seeing pics of other cars but in the flesh it did look a bit weird. But then again my cars got a blue tint to the dragon-green, which was meant to be a standard re-paint my the previous owner but it don't look like it.

Anyway I might pursue it if have nuf £££ after insurance renewel. Sure I saw a pic of a Polo on ere somewhere :?:

Matt black always looks 10 times better on cars with smooth curvy lines as the paint doesn't reflect and leeves a cool velvety texture. Having it in the gunmetal grey certaintly looks mean as hell

Have no  about the moisture thing tho, i'll ask next time go to garage

matt black rules, only problem is that you will see anythiing on it (from tiny scratches to small grease stains from people that touched your car, which would freak me out every time I saw my car  )

That'd p*55 me off like  cos there chavs everywhere, every 2 months i find a new scratch. The bonnets riddled with chips too. I need them clear tints you put on the body to stop stone chips :!:

I'v definately changed my mind from matt black to matt gunmetal grey, such a beaut :D
