Just ordered a new white dial kit which i like a lot. it should be here by the end of this month. what do you think adding some blue leds instead of green ones ??

i hope it comes nice.

i problem. i talked on rust on polo some months ago,and guess what?? the place where i had rust, got i removed, rust cropped again, got it removed, and now guess what???? Rust cropped out from the same place :?

this is the only thing i can say is a disadvantage of whoever bought a mk4 6n polo.

hmmm, seems like the problem was never solved when you got the rust removed. There should be no real reason why it should come back so quickly, other than there was still rust left, or the paint is a bad job and salt has got in there over the winter?

After all, if the car can last 4 years with no rust, why shouldn't cutting the rust out and giving it a new paint job make it last another 4 years?

very odd

white dials - cool. are they hard to fit? it's always something I have avoided doing - people get wary about fiddling with the dash....?

about the dials, it is not very hard to fit, but it takes quite some time, because there are sreews everywhere and some of them are quite in odd places, for example, some screws, you cannot untie them with a srew driver cause it does not fit, i had to use some bits from those muli-purpose screwdrives and turn them with a long nose plier.

regarding the rust, i don't know what they did exacly, the only thing that he told me is that he cannot cut the piece and replace with another because of the place where it is. he told me that the paint was removed and the rust was removed with a wire brush, i dont think that that was enough. Then coating it with zebar and even sealer, and spraying over it again!!

i think that this is going to drive me mad :?
