hi, i have had 2 of the 9n3 polo gti's not and both times i have chosen eibach pro street s coilovers
believe me i have tried endless spring and shock combos and other coilovers and this setup is the best driving and comfort pleasure i have found, they make no noises rattles or squeeks unlike most coilovers, just pure road based fun in a box
they are just great, very comfortable for coilovers for every day use whilst being suprisingly firm in the twistys, they are called eibach pro street s coilovers, they use eibachs progressive coil springs with kw suspension dampers, they even have the kw logos on the suspension legs
so effectively are kw coilovers with comfier eibach springs, for less
heres a couple of pics of the way my gti sits with them fitted, (excuse the old pics)
hope this helps you mate

The eibach's are ok, but they are seriously limited in the lowering at the rear of the car. Fronts got seriously low, but the rears are a bit poor.
I'm gonna look into shorter rear springs or something for mine.

Are you talking about the springs or the coilovers?!

The coilovers
If you are looking to get it lower than in Jeffs pics, then dont go with the eibach's, they don't go very low at the rear

as andy says, mine is as low as it will allow them to be at the rear, yet there is probably be another -50 mm at the front
however eibach do make another set of springs for the coilovers to go lower, but im happy with mine for now

Jeff is wrong, there is no Eibach kit that allows the car to go lower, i have contacted Eibach and had this reply
Hello Sir
We are pleased that you like our Pro-Street - S kit on your Polo.
Unfortunately we can only supply the lowering collars that come with the
kit. Our engineers have found that if the car is lowered any further
you can get adverse handling and tyre wear, as the vehicle can go out of
tolerance on its camber/caster settings.
We would also recommend that you do not run the car without rear
adjusters.

If you are running coilovers you could use these to sort the problem out, designed and made specifically for the polo
https://www.whiteline.com.au/store/defa ... art=KCA310
They have a UK distributor, but by my workings out its cheaper to get it from OZ - as long as customs dont ask for the VAT of course. I'v got some on order as my coilovers are comming soon. I'll post when I'v fitted it all together
