First of all...Hello Everyone!

This is my 1st post...had my Polo for a few months...but now I am able to afford a few minor modifications.

I have fitted an Alpine 9881 head unit today and now want to upgrade the front speakers.

I have removed the door cards, drilled the rivets and removed the Phillips speakers.

I just can't decide what to do next! Do I just buy some CUSTOM FIT speakers...or get some 6.5" ones with adapters.

Quite like the look...and price of these

Very interested to know what other 9n drivers are running in the front.

Also do I leave the OEM tweeters running...or disconnect them...or replace them...leave the standard speaker cables in....or upgrade.

I realise this is my 1st contribution....but PLEASE help!!!!

I replaced my factories in my 9n with infinity reference 6012i's and they work a treat, think i got em delivered £45, they make such a difference and have a very good mid and treble and the bass is ok, but i have a sub and 6x9s so no need for the bass in them, i would highly recommend

im running fli 6.5" integrator speakers up front in my polo!they work a treat for sound up front as im already running a sub and 6x9s aswel.if the speakers up front are the only ones your running i would suggest a set with a bit more power and bass.the fli are 70watt rms.

I'd get some top quality 6.5" components for the front, then a nice 12" sub for the back and your sorted!
