Lookin to buy a set of 15" RH Cups for ma Mk 4 Polo. I noticed on here that some people are runni 8" width rims on the rear and 7" inch rims on the front!! Looks pretty cool to. Tyres im using will be 195/45/15 for both front and back

Just wonderin what offset of wheel would I need in order for the 8" width rears to not rub on the wheel arches!!? I know that the ET35 looks best on the front but not sure about the back!

Any help would be great!! This wheel stuff is so confusing!! Cant wait to get em on ma car.

Cheers aka TOKEN.

It also depends how low your car is too. For polo's its recommended to have between ET35-38. I'v got 7.5j on the rears with ET25 or 28 (can't remember) but i'v got 195/50's with car sitting down 90mm. The tyres are close to the outer arch let alone scrub the inners if the car bounces or theres people in the back. With 8j's the tyres are really close to the outer arch but I guess it would be ok if the tyres stretch a bit.

Hope that gives you some idea although anyone running 8js on the rear would know best.
