rofl i was going to huddersfield today and yup my gear box packs up

This car has a vodoo hex on it lol

Whenever i fix something on it some thing else goes.

First cant get car to start, fix it, Electric windows pack up, fix it, wishbone bushes go, fix it, central locking goes, fixed it last night, day after gearbox packs up rofl

anyone else get this kinda mad vodoo hehe

Lol well my car took ages to start the other day because of the central locking I guess. It always makes a weird noise when I lock the doors...as if the batteries are drained and they are struggling to lock the doors! But welcome to the world of dubbing..90% headache...but for that 10% of joy...its completely worth it.

yeah when i had my seat leon was the exact same, electric windows went the day i got it, a section of exhaust fell off, oil seals started leaking, few other minor things, then the cam belt tensioners broke, needed new belt and tensioners, literally a day after getting it back from the garage a new creak developed so i gave up and sold the bugger. Some cars are just lemons!

hehe im thinking of just getting this gearbox reconditioned then selling the car for a 1.4 16v model cheaper on the tax bracket and fast than the 1.6 haha

the 16 valve is higher insurance than the 1.6

hum oh well as long as its under £1000 ill be ok haha

Not sure what bracket the 1.6 is but the 1.4 8v is group 5 whilst the 1.4 16v is group 10 Thats the shock I found out when my insurance company wouldn't insure me anymore cos'v that difference. Its in the same band as an MX5 convertible lol.

My car has that common unsolvable problem with irractic revs etc. Even so I found out since I had bad luck with an accident in January, i'v been having MAJOR problems in my life with everything including my car. So many things have gone wrong with it like windows, 3rd pedal box (which is breaking again), gearbox, wishbones, exhaust etc........

Forget the car, think i'v got some voodoo over my head

well my 1.6 is insurance group 7. s**t noz mate thats pretty unlucky son, but think of it in this way, if u had the power to curse someone, wld u really bother tinkering with the car? i know i wldnt

True say lol BUT whatever/whoever it is knows my polo's my pride and joy (when it works) and is probably the biggest thing I own.

A lot of my mates have been shafted with bad things but you know what they say after it happens? They say, "this 5hit doesn't even compare to the crap Noz has gone through!"
