My new toy.....

Upgraded the camera whilst away on holiday and got one of these..............







It's a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX100.

I had a look at it just before we went away after seeing an ad for it on TV. RRP back here is around the £340 mark but we managed to pick it up for approx £240 inc. a 4gb SDHC card & reader. I personally preferred the black version but the shop only had the gunmetal grey version which the mrs preferred anyway and at that price i couldn't say no.


Well i nipped over to the folks earlier today so took the new camera with me and took some test shots while i was over their neck of the woods.....

I'm happy with the results..... I've resized the images slightly in photoshop as the camera is 12mp so the pics are huge!!!! Just got to get a grip on which of the 21 different modes to use when now.

I've added links to the images as they are still big pictures even after a resize!!!

I just got myself the TZ3 from the Lumix range (Clicky), but not had chance to use it much yet. The only pictures I've posted here far are these (Clicky) , although that wasn't in the best of conditions to use it for the first time , but I'm loving the Zoooooooooooooom
