Hello All,

This is my first post as I'm a newbie to the VW Polo scene..

I have 2 questions i`m hoping you guys can help me out with.

1) Anyone have instructions or know how to fit a GTI rear Spoiler on a 6N2?

2)Where can I find the identical/lookalike GTi sideskirts...all I`ve seen is some strange ones which are too OTT for me.

Hope someone can help out

Thanks

Welcome to the forum! :D

1) The instructions for the spoiler are in DIY guides

2) The GTI sideskirts are metal welded on. I don't know where to get similar aftermarket ones. List of some here http://www.tigerstyle.co.uk/poloforum/v ... hp?t=12820 And I don't think the nice Hofele ones in that thread actually exist

Thanks for the replies.

Just to follow on, I can only find a DIY guide for the roof tip spoiler? is this the same as the standard GTi Spoiler with the LED? If not anyone know how to fit one of those? (Is it still glued on?)

The WS Styling ones looked a bit bigger than i was looking for, if anyone spots any around please let me know.

Thanks

You'll have 2 brakelights if you put on the gti spoiler :?:

Get your dealer to look up these part numbers for the sides:
6N0 071 685 A 9AX
6N0 071 685 B 9AX

Then he'll say "No can do, out of production". I've been there :)

I've got the wheels off that car by way, love em!

What parts are you quoting there as thats an exchange part?!? signified by the X on the end lol

Sideskirts copied out of the 6n2 votex catalogue, it's in German so I don't what it says next to the part number Alex :D

Strange....any part which is VW (as its 6n0 its a part from them) ending with an X is an exchange part :P Ie waterpumps like 037 125 225 DX or a clutch being 025 145 147 CX is an exchange.

Thats very odd indeed - ill have a look on etka for them now..... hehe :D
