hi guys

Ok the time has come for some new wheels. Narrowed it down to the Keskin KT1 Klassiks or Borbet T's. But cant decide which to get, or how wide to go on the back...Basically both wheels hav a really nice amount of dish if you get 9's but not sure if they will fit on my 9n, guna hav 7.5s on the front but want some big uns on the back haha.

Also looking to lower it bout 50mm....wots ur thoughts on the widths of the wheels and the size (16's btw) when its been lowered

any help wud be appreciated....cheers :)

Hi m8 nice choice of wheels but 9 inch rears  think you`d maybe need some arch work done to get that on a 9n especially when lowering 50mm i maybe wrong though, keep us updated with whatever you choose

i had 8.5" keskin kt1 on the rear of my ibiza and 8.5 on the front all down 60mm! had to raise the front to avoid smashing the arches to pieces, but the rear was just about ok.
they lasted 5 days before i got bored of the scrubbing!

9s would be fine aslong as you dont lower too much which isnt possibly anyway on the 9n! back sits too high
the blue 9n in pvw the other month has 9s on the rear

clearly it depends on the offset. the Audi TT comps are right on the limit at the front and they're 7.5" and 32 offset. not 1mm wider would work if you want to lower the car and drive it hard.

I guess it depends on how low and how much rubbing you're prepared to put up with - do you want to have to take it easy on bumpy roads?

pidge - lovely photos, are the front's 9.5 too?!

No mate the fronts were 17x8.5 with 205/40/17 tyres and 225/35/17 on the 9.5s

Those wheels are gone now and im back on my Compo th mono's (16x8 et25 :p) but hopefully early next year ill be running some wheels ive never seen on a 9n

What tyres you got on your TT comps mate? The wheels im looking at are 17x8 and im toying with et's
Not sure what to go for as I can have ANY offset i want. Was thinking of around et30 with 205/40/17 yoko parada 2's

Hi,

running 205x40x17 BF Goodrich tyres, recommended! Those wheels looked very nice indeed. I was looking at the TH Monos before I decided to get the TT wheels. Got any pictures?

Ive changed the spec for the new wheels to 17x7.5 et~25 so not sure what tyres ill get yet. Will either be toyo or yoko's though :P
