uk-p rules even if i dont have a polo no more

I'm on like 4 forums which i regulary go on, but none of them are actually as friendly or as much of a community as uk-p's.

CP is good for lots of threads but there is plenty of bit*hiness, seatcupra is good for some advice but people dont really try and help they just tell you to search or use VAG-com for all answers & tidy is my local forum, they are so unfriendly to anyone not in their "circle", and seem to enjoy delibratly winding people up, cracking jokes about alex getting fired from VW & saying he stole a cambelt for me which is total rubbish, obviously it doesnt directly affect me I just dont see the point in it, not one person has pissed me off on this forum & i've spent the majority of my browsing on here for a year

Anyway rant over, just nice to come back on here with friendly people...

i've been on club polo and club lupo.
tbh both are rubbish compared to this.

everyone seems to want to help on here..

on them it's like 'yes' 'no' answers

good old uk-polos eh :D

btw what font is the uk-polos.net sticker for your car windows?

I agree with you there, this is one of the most down to eath forums around.
People always happy to give advice & even go to some lengths to help someone out...
I use one more forum that is similar to this one but has recently become a bit racist IMO which a shame really as otherwise is a good place.
One thing about this place tho is it needs more active members but if they're gonna turn out to be d!cks then it's better to just keep it a small community.

i see what your saying student boy....the thing with tidy is the same with all "local" clubs there is always going to be a core of the main circle who started the club....its neither right nor wrong tbh

uk-polos is a very nice big family and i must admit i spend a lot more time on here than i did before....realy good if your a gti driver whereas when i had my mk4 i found clubpolo better

yeah i get what your saying tom, and most of them are sound but you get the odd one that comes along making a comment deliberately to wind you up, e.g. "Polo is a s**t car", not really necessary, could have just said its not his type of car...

I've got more posts on Club Polo but this forum has been a lot more helpful to me, mainly because it has the only dedicated Polo GTI forum I know of. I'm on about 10 different car forums

ye...people will always have funny views on polos in the dub scene though i think but fact of matter is they are an entry to the dub scene for most as they are cheap and easy to insure!

also though.....i think its cool that me, you, alex and ben can meet up and help eachother out?

I think a lot of people snub Polos in the dub scene, just thinking they are a smaller poor mans Golf. I beg to differ though

I'm on too many forums - but thats cos I have too many cars

Autobahnstormers
TWOMAS
Retro-rides
PPC
FTO Club
7 Series register

Plus a load of other fringe ones

This one is nice, can be quiet but there is always someone who will help with advice - the only thing that pissies me off is txt spk - seems to be an age thing.....

We have a great little community. Bigger is not always better as in the case of larger forums. I wish the club house would be a bit busier, it could be an excellent resource for getting us all together, you have to remember that other forums don't have off-topic forums any more, and they're a bit rubbish, I'd hate to talk about bloody cars all the time, it's nice to have a change!

I also think there should be a mod shakeup, some of the regulars on here would be great candidates for moderators :D
