Hi

With the immenent arrival of octaviars junior we're looking at changing my wife's car. I wondered if anyone on here could give me a realistic valuation for a private sale?

March 2004 Polo 1.9TDI 100bhp Sport
30,000 miles with full JBS service history on fixed (yearly) servicing
New rear pads and discs, new Cupra front bushes, K&N and Custom Code software which can obviously be removed, new Bridgestone Potenzas/Turanzas (can't remember which, whatever it came with). Brake fluid changed in '06
Metallic black with red/grey upholstery
Winter pack (heated seats, headlamp washers, heated screen washer jets)
6 disc in dash CD changer
Fully automatic climate control

It's been a town car so it's got the odd scratch or two but nothing that gives me sleepless nights.

Rich

About £6200 should get you a quick sale.

Let me do an in and out detail on it and you'll sell it quicker!

And no... I don't want to buy it ;)

You know you want it Josh.

There isn't enough petrol in the world for that luxo-barge of yours. Did you ever reply to that letter from Saudi Arabia? The one asking you to stop?

yeah I'd say that would be on the forecourt for about 7k. might find a keen buyer for 6500 but you'd have to be lucky!

Well I bit the bullet and went for a new Polo 1.4 Match 5 door for the missis. Baby on the way and all that.

I got another £200 added on to the trade in, dealer matched the £372 VW offer, three years free servicing, rubber mats front and rear and metallic. £68.47 per month on lease purchase for three years. Remind me to buy a car in January again :D

:edit:

Looks like the cubby box mod will be on the new motor. It starts!

Picked it up tonight and I have to say it's a very good looking car in Olympic Blue. I know no one is too interested in standard cars but I think a pic or two might be in order :D

Cubby box was on before we left the car park :)
