My Y plate GTI has just hit 44k today
edit: original gearbox going strong

My car's on about 74k, the engine is only on about 33k I'd guess

ninety bloody two... on a w plate. but whats surprising is that i had my gearbox recond' last week and apparently its the only one its had.

58k, 51 reg and still on its original clutch and gearbox. I get more and more paranoid about it daily!

We had a thread like this somewhere before....
I'm a couple of hundred out from 90,000 miles, still on the original 'box.
