car wont start??? help???

beenn at uni since october and aint driven the car since then. my dad started it once b4 i got ere a week b4 i got back. then i started it wen i got back and it just wont start
could any1 shed some light ere??

Apart from not writing in txt speak - which is rubbish when you have a full keyboard in front of you you might need to provide a few more details please
Do you get ign lights on when you turn the key to start it
Does the engine turn over (if it does does it spin quickly or slowly)
In the absense of decent information the help that can be provided is ltd

if your ignition lights come on, turn the key as far as it will go and push the key up.
This may only work if ur ignition lights are on

check the basics:
battery
petrol.
If its not those then errr...
Its probably one of those lol.

my dad gave the car a jump from his passat and the car was runnin little low on fuel so the topped it up and now its running on half a tank...it still didnt start so guessin its not that. then we put some fuel direct to the engine to at least get a kick start and it didnt start. i dont think the ignition lights come on. when i started it it turned on but then i stupidly turned the lights on and it went dead. ???

dead battery
get a new one!
and check your alternator is charging, otherwise your new battery won't last long!

indeed it sounds like ur battery is dead,
.
Get it jumped, drive ur car around for 30 minutes, try ur lights and if it dies again ur alternator maybe broken

yeh if worse comes to worse il get the alternator checked or new bat.lol, it wont charge coz it wont turn on

would it not be easier to check the altenator is working by using a multimeter lol
