all paint should be lacquered really - ensures that the paint wont wear out or fade. Thats what ive heard anyhow

not too bad a match but the nozzles are crap wont use them again.pleased with the bumper though the cheapest it would of cost to get painted near me was £80 so saved alot.and i have put a couple of coats of laquer on it aswell

Proper cans of paint from VW aren't much more expensive and at least they match straight out of the can

Did you just grab the can and spray the bumper?? I didn't know you could do that shizzle. I thought you needed specialist tools!

And of course if you are painting the flexible part of the bumper ie the lower lip you need some sort of plastiser primer
Preparation is the key to painting as Glen said - panel wipes etc make a huge difference to the finished result

obviously you use flexible primer on plasic mouldings :wink spend 80% time prep so many peeps rush into these things
