ok i get the info with the bumper now. it was just a thought but aint gonna do it.

but i do now have another problem now. when i used to use my boot popper it would unlock it straight away and then i could just open it, however now i have to press the button, pull the boot a bit to bring it out then press the button again then pull the boot to open it fully.

was wondering if anyone knows y or how this happened? i keep checking the cables and it seems fine. also does anyone have any pics of how they popper is placed in the boot and wired up to the boot mechanism so i can check it against mine.

are we talking some sort of aftermarket boot popper? or the standard cable and latch on 6N2s?

yes its an aftermarket one. didnt know polos can have poppers on them?

does that mean its nothing to do with the springs in the latch or the popper not being set up properly?

wat alex said. its something u use when u smooth the boot.... can do it with the doors to but i believe u use different ones for the doors due to the power or something....

so anyone know for sure if it is cause its cold then or something else wrong?
