can i fit a 16v golf gti motor straight into a gt polo, or will major work need doing?

its a possable job if you had a left hand drive. uk models the servo and master cylinder get in the way but there is ways around this as in remote servos.
also slight mods to bulkhead may be required ive seen these done on german sites but not seen any in uk . but most easy conversions are 1.4 16v from a polo 6n or 1.6 16v(gti) from a 6n2 or even 1.6 8v (aee) also from 6n polo these are prob the easyest engine conversion without major tasks.
other people on the forum may able to shed light on the subject if you wont budge from 16v gti golf lump
