Hello to you all and I must say you guys have a great polo community in this forum, good job. Welldone!

OK I've got 56 Reg Polo, unfortunately its not a gti :( but being a student and I couldn't really afford it.. so its a 1.2 sadly (and I do miss my old 1.4 polo as i feel the difference)

Now there are A few things I need the advise on:

Alloy Wheels: Whats the perfect size and which ones? budget is not much, £400 max
Front Gti grill: I've seen it some where through this forum
Tinted windows: Will they make it look any better, if so what sort of tints and what percentage?
Fog lights: How will I go about installing those, and if I'll be able to get them installed into the current front bumper?
Exhaust Im not really that much bothered about a sports exhaust but any suggestions are welcome..

Any other little modifications you guys might think would make it look and me feel better!!

P.S. The Current (standard) stereo doesn't play the mp3 cd, well it plays it for a minute then starts skipping it and then gives an error, however it plays the standard music cd quite well.. How do i go about sorting this out?

Any suggestions and replies will be much appreciated!!

I can help you with the foglights (i've fitted that to my car with no problems) and the gti grill (i would remove the gti badge beforehand!)

As for wheels, i would go for 'fake' monza's, you'll find them on ebay for £399 for 17 inch ones.

LED sidelights / Xenon Headlight conversion

Black Badges look cool on black cars, had them on my previous GTi

Thanks for all the response so far guys, I've been away from the internet for couple of days hence the late reply from me!

Don't You guys think 17" Alloys would be too big for the car, and tyres might wear off too quickly? I thought 16" would be the perfect size but most good alloys only start from 17".. so some suggestions on that please..

About tints, Any suggestions for the percentage of tints? and also whether I should have the back window 100% and front lighter since front can't be 100% or will it look out of place and I should have the same tint combination on the front and back..?

It's a 3door and Black for those that can't view the picture

This is the grill I was talking about earlier and wondering if it would fit my car? it does say Polo 9n3 05> but since my car isn't a gti so I'm not sure if it would fit mine

Hope to hear more suggestions... Keep em coming!!

i dont think 17"s would be too big at all, they suit the car much better than 16"s imo.

tints: 100% would mean NO light would get through, i dont even think you can get that!

Most places will do a light medium and dark grade, so i wouldn't worry too much about percentages.

IMO i think a light tint on all windows looks best, another popular option (is what i have) is a light or medium tint on the back 3.

Remember however that factory VW glass is already tinted to a certain percentage, and it's very doubtful you will find anywhere that do a tint light enough that will NOT make your front windows illegal. It's totally up to you though,

Hope that helps

Start with 17" and a set of lowering springs. Forget about exhaust and all that other stuff untill you get that sortet. What about som gunmetal RS4 II replica wheels? If your on a vert tight budget, then get som used wheels. Many nice OEM options out there aswell!

Yea Since Ive bought another car for the family I am on a tight budget!! Gotta do everything one by one so I guess the Wheels and front grill are the first two things to do!

My Stereo doesn't seem to play mp3 cd's to well.. It skips the tracks and then shows Error message. Does it mean the physical lense of the cd is faulty/dirty or is it software problem within the player, as it plays the music cds very well..

Are there any affective lense cleaning tools that can help? I know there are cds that I can play but are there any particular recommended ones?
