i was thinking of either getting a new front bumper or sorting my bumper out and getting a gti splitter on it. the bumper i was thinking of was this one:

wat do u peeps think i should do? unless u can recommend another front bumper.....

For the same money I'd prefer a smoothed standard bumper with the GTI splitter.

That bumper will be mesh city, plus you'll have to fill in the badge cutout on the bonnet

Not a fan of that either!

But would smoothing the front bumper not cost quite a bit more than that if you want a decent job?

Even the standard bumper with the splitter would look nicer than that IMO

yeh smoothing the OEM bumper would cost more than that one,

imo OEM smoothed with the GTi splitter would look the best, but then again its totally up to you, what you thinks best and how original you want to be!

well as it happens i have just got myself a second hand gti splitter. and the bonnet indent is sorted. as im sure your aware the bumper has been smoothed diy style untill i get the money to get it done properly. ive kinda grown to like where i put my number plate as its different to wat people always say you should do with it. its in a position so it doesnt look standard but doesnt look really modified. i need new plates tho as theyre looking a bit tatty and i wanna change the hole position of the screw holes in it. when its sorted, eventually, i'll get some pics up..... and colour code door handles or get audi door handles i think they are and get central locking put in.

where is it located at the moment?

its in the centre of the front bumper like standard but its slightly lower so it over hangs the middle grill as well. its prob about half over the grill but screwed in the bumper just above the blower grill if u understand wat i mean? if not i'll see abotu getting a pic.

ah i get you, du have a pic of it though? just to see how it looks

just gone out and taken some pics in the light rain were having..... thought i might as well take a couple of pics of the outside of the car whilst im there........ also theres the exhaust in the last pic if anyone wants it? i decided against it now so i dont want it so gonna sell it. the tail pipe is 14cmx8cm and its made to come out under the middle of the bumper instead of one side of it. if n e one wants it or wants more info let me know. its suppose to be a diy job but not sure totally how to do it so gonna maybe get a custom exhaust built when i get the money.

anyway here are the pics of the exhaust and of my car..... it'll show u wat i mean about the number plate.... i also got a gti splitter to put on my car at some point.

ahh yeh i see now,., hhmmm i'd personally gone with the original numberplate recess,,

or on the bottom grill, but i think that only looks right with the GTi headlights
