Brake Pads!

All guys and gals!
anyone have any previous experience of the mintex m1144 range?
i need some new pads for my gti and there isnt alot of options for the car!
reason for this... brake wear indicator! so damn ghey! lol
any help?!

im running mintex extreme and they are very good compared to standard
i have them for sale or standard pads for sale if your interested, make me an offer through pm

ive ordered a set of Mintex M1144s for my car! a company in rochdale are making them for me!

i have a pair of standards, and a pair or mintex extreme pads for sale
also have a set of standard disks and a set of tarox sport japan disks for sale too

Did u ever fit the tarox sport japan disks? Take it there the same size as the standard disks so no need to change carriers?

they have been fitted and done about 200 miles with the mintex disks, so both are in perfect condition
they are the same 288x25 and so no need to change anything

jeff how do you find the sport japan discs?
i was gonna go for the g88s, but found out that they absolutely eat pads!!

yeah fine, they are drilled to lose heat and grooved to de glaze the pads, gonna be better then g88's on pads but still worse than solid disks
defo an improvement on braking performance, hence me getting the same ones in 312 mm flavour

yeah defo sounds good to me, could discuss mods, have rides in each others etc to compare what works, as it can help others in their quest for what they want, looks, chassis, performance etc
im onn for a week from the 27th jan if anyone fancies it that week?
