Okay had some work done on my car (still waiting for it to be finished  ) and my central locking gave up!!! Ahhh!

Well Doug and Dan done some hunting around and found in the central locking housing it was soaking wet and my poor pump had died!

Well thanks to Doug :D having a spare pump i can replace it, but im very scared that it could happen again.

Anyone had the same problem? Where could the leak be coming from?

We think it could be lights? but it seems to be coming from somewhere higher.

Im stumped, doesn't take alot. Lol! :D

loads of ppl have had that ive got thru about 3 pumps in 2 polos lol. wot i did was get some proper sealant and go right round the lights with it, then seal the pump itself with a load od duct tape, then put a load of kitchen roll at the bottom so if water gets it will just get absorbed rather than fill up. seems to have held ok

AHA! well we think that we have hit the jackpot! I have no surround on my aerial! And the inside roof is all wet!

Thanks to Doug again! He had a spare one so thats now on.

Gonna give it a week or two to see if the water is till gonna get in.

Thanks for the tips!

i think we will still try and seal the pump so to speak so that if there is another leak around that area, then we can make sure the pump doesn't get knackered!
