ok im pretty skeptical and reckon even if a ghost walked up and slapped me in the face i wouldnt beleive in them. However, this is pretty weird. I had my new ipod and was looking for it thursday night, my room was totally empty as id cleared everything out to leave 4 uni the next day. Couldnt find the ipod after a good search so assumed id packed it, but was nowhere to be seen when i unpacked back here. I phoned my mum and she had a good search round my room but couldnt find it. my dad later had a good search that night and again couldnt find it. Was on the phone today and made my dad proper thoughly search everywhere, but still no sign. later my mum wandered in to drop off some laundry and there it was, sitting right in the middle of the desk. no1 else goes in our house, and i personally checked the desk and it was no there. how weird is that??

Some stuff freaks me out, but i think its more paranoia from watching movies n stuff e.g. walking back to the flat on my own after a night out. You sure your parents arent practical jokers? Sounds like the kinda thing mine would do to me! Although at my uni flat we did have a rather odd mystery about one of the locks (the ones where the metal goes inside the cylinder, best i can explain it) being bent in, the toilet one of all places! spooky...

i had something similar to this, i left my laptop on overnight hoping it would be on in the morning (was downloading stuff), before i went to bed checked that the cable for it is plugged in and the switch is on. In the morning i come downstairs and find the plug had been unplugged and the laptop was still on because the battery had lasted a while (only lasts two hours though) so who ever unplugged it must have done not more than 2 hours ago. So went and asked my mum if she had unplugged it and she said that she's been no where near it, asked my dad he said no, asked my little brother and he said he didn't even go into that room, just went straight to school. Thought that was well weird :? have no idea how it got unplugged

Does anybody in your house sleep walk?

Was in my girlfriend old bedroom once sat on the sofa bed watching a film and a wine glass literlery flew off a book case and landed about 18 inches away from where it started from.

It was a good 3 inches away from the edge of the bookcase before it took off, we could see a ring of dusk where it was before.

We put it back there jumped up and down near it wobbled the book case and could not get it to repeat what it had just done!

Saw an amazing UFO when I was at Junior school aswell, lunch time not a cloud in the sky, and what looked like two metalic pyrmids joined in the middel and spinning slowly in opposite directions, moved across the sky from south to north, much slower than an aircraft, and with no noise audiable, about 1000-2000ft high I guess.

I'm pretty sceptical about these things. There must be a resonable reasoning for things

i've got one for you, i lived in a uni house about a year back with 4 students, one of which had moved out and one of them that had gone home for the weekend. I went to Harry's room for a chat, this was at the top of the stairs next to the the loft door in the hallway (only entry to it is one of those celing panels that you have to open up, then pull the extendable ladder out & climb up).

A bit later on we both went downstairs to cook dinner, when we had finished we both walked to the bottom of the stairs to see a blatent light shining through the cracks round the loft door, we checked the house to see if anyone was about, then decided it must be a burgler so got together an arsenal of bats & golf clubs...after about 30 mins we plucked up the courage to open the loft door and climb up there, somehow the light had been turned on up there, the switch is well in the loft as well.....and none of us had been up there ever before

no, no one had ever been up there before...and we had lived there for around 6 months

plus the hallway is dark enough that i would have spotted it through the cracks when i went to harry's room as you walk right underneath it to walk into his room, and its directly in eye line when you walk up the stairs...so it went on in the hour that we cooked food :?

thats reallllly weird :?

i love stories like these,

My friend lives in a house where weird stuff like that happens regularly, lights switch on and off, tvs turn on and off, doors slam, all weird stuff

They once had a picture of the whole family taken outside the front, after having the pictures developed you could clearly see a face in one of the windows of the house, when there was no other possible person that could've been in the house!

my dad used to work with a guy who lived in a haunted house.
he said he saw fishing rods flying down the hallway before and one night when he got in late from work he put the TV on and then fell asleep.
he woke up a bit later and the TV was off and with what he thought was his wife sitting watching him.
lets just say it wasn't his wife and he legged it upstairs
