Flashing engline check light this morning

It came on this morning and was flashing!!Any ideas what this could be? I turned the engine off straight away then when i turned it back on a min later it wasn't on at all

It may just be a dodgy sensor, du have vagcom?

It sounds like a problem with the sensor. Sometimes the exhaust emissions lights on mine such as the lambda probe come on during the winter, if the problem doesn't return next time it'll proably be ok

Nah I dont have vagcom, is it easy to use?
Im thinking of selling up soon to get another car... just out of interest how much do you think my car is worth?
