Radio not working correctly

Hi,
The sony radio on my polo isn't working correctly. There is treble sound coming from the dash tweeters but no sound coming from the door speakers. I'm not sure how to pop out the stereo as it's secured but 6 or so screws.
Anyone got any ideas?
