hello all am just posting on here as i am curious and cant be doing with my gearbox blowing again. when my car is cold it seems to grind into 2nd from 1st.

This could be due to there being no oil in the gearbox but it could just be me being paranoid as when my last one blew i was supposed to have popped a seal out and all of the oil leaked out of the box anyone help? cheers.

If there is no oil in the gearbox, you'll know about it very quickly (trust me on this). It might be worth changing the gearbox oil though, and putting some decent gear oil (redline) in. I'm planning to do the same for the Ibiza in the next couple of months, I've only ever heard good things about redline oils.
