Main beam on the Polo is an H1 right?

Yeh H1 is full beam.

Wouldn't convert those to xenon though: xenon's take too long to get to 100% brightness for just quick flashing etc.

I wanna convert my foglights though :D:D, now that i've fitted them. Anyone know what bulbs those are?

H4 i believe.

Converting the fogs would be good, but looks like it would be quite tricky to change the bulbs and do the conversion! :?

H7 are the fogs. They wont be H4 as thats a two filament bulb for both dipped and full beams

And Xenon HIDs do work for main beam and flashing - i have them lol!

They take under 10 secs to get to full brightness too so its not bad at all.

Well theres no warranty attached, but hey for 25 quid who cares. Theyre all made in the same place anyhow...its just the comeback and replacement if they break issue you have with cheap kits.

Sure it said 2 year warrenty somewhere. Thing is you'd have to send faulty stuff back to china which would cost more than the kits lol. I'v ordered an h1 kit so i'll let you all know what they are like when they come

Oh and for the book, they wouldnt be suitable for H7s as they dont have a beam controller to stop light going all around the reflector where it shouldnt. H1s are fine as the beam needs no control as are fogs (which are H7) :)

Does this mean I shouldn't get them to upgrade my dipped beams?

Basically yes. The highbeams on 9n3 polos are H1 anyway so theyd be fine ;)

Does it not knacker the ballast if u need to keep putting ur lights on/off/on/off . . . etc as u do when driving with ur full beam or flashing ppl?

Providing you give them a good burn here and there, its ok :)

Hold on; am well confused now..

so

H1 are full beams (for flashing and country roads etc)

H7 are foglights

H7 are dipped beams (but we cant use these ones Matey found on eBay on our dipped beams due to lack of controller).

Correct me if I'm wrong!
