ARB/Strut brace

If I fitted to the front only would it be necessary to fit the rear.
Also if I lowered the car and fitted a front arb would this effect road humps?

as for an arb, it would make more sense to fit a rear one as there is already one on the front, but none on the rear, resulting in a more balanced handling car
strut brace - tightens up steering geometry, with only minimal effect on overall handling
and no, the arb's wont affect humps as they dont hang low, so wont foul

yeah i have a jabbasport rear arb fitted
its a good piece of kit, i like it, firms the rear up, makes it feel more planted and stops the understeer, tho can increase the chances of lift of oversteer more if your pushing it and let off on in island on large sweeping corner ... apparently accordind to briskoda forums, iv never experienced this myself, maybe this is because i have my coilovers and poly bushes all round, firming up the ride a bit more

I'v experienced lift off oversteer with the jabba rear arb - I have standard suspension set up. Great fun and controllable if your expecting it

possibly why im not getting the lift off is partly due to the rather stiffer setup im running ???
are you running 17's or 18's also mateyguv, they look huuuuuuuuuuge

They are 17" they do look bigger though. Cant go back to 16's cause of the brakes I run. I got the same coilovers as you Jeff sitting in my garage waiting to be fitted, but I keep deciding not to fit them. Where I live every other road has speed bumps on them - the split type - you got any round your way and if so what is the car like over them. Does it ground out when straddleing them or does is clear. From memory you have yours set nearlly on the lowest settings?

Stiffening the suspension just means when it goes it'll give you less notice!
You can easily provoke the car into lift off oversteer withe rear arb fitted, but you have to be pushing the car. . .

mine are set like the photo below also on 17's and yeah plenty of speed bumps here, but i never ground out at all, just have to slow down for them
they are set to the lowest at the rear and fronts are matched but could still go about 40 mm lower again

What diameter is the Jabba rear ARB?
You don't really want anything bigger than 25mm on a road car imo.
A rear strut brace is a good idea too as hatch backs are nothing like as rigid as saloon cars as there's no metal bracing the rear turrets.
Both will sharpen turn-in response and reduce understeer.
What you really want is a Quaife or Peloquin torsen diff

How does the handling differ between these two rear arb sizes?
Jabba is 23mm
