Hi guys.just bought another vag car to add to my fleet (number 4 :? ) Its a 2001 Polo saloon or classic tdi.I bought it as a 90bhp with running issues which turned out to be a faulty maf...suprise suprise. On ordering the maf and giving the parts dept the engine code it turns out to be a 110bhp?Are these models rare or just unpopular? I didn't know there was such a thing but on fitting the new maf it certainly feels rapid even compaired to my bora 130pd  Has anyone got any info on them i.e performance stats because i cant find any. Finally anyone got any pics of modded saloons thanks

I couldn't see anything for the 1.9 tdi in the link.It was a main dealer who said it was a 110 but he thought it was a special order.Ive double checked the engine no and its right. Its an ugly wee thing but a good sleeper  Once it s remapped should be a bit of a weapon  Its an SE model priced at £14500 new according to vw !! thats more than a fabia vrs! Heres a pic if it works [img][/img]

They didn't actually facelift the front of the saloon for the Mk5. It kept the same headlights etc as the 6N model.

If it has the updated interior, then personally I would class it as the 6N2 version.

Arite, quite interesting.

Well its got 6N2 style mirrors. and colour coded handles and clear indicators.

But its got 6N bumpstrips, lights obv and bonnet and washer jets.

Looks like they coudln't make their minds up :?

yeah if it has the updated interior which it should do if its a 2001 model then it would be classed as a 6n2.
