Need Good Garage in N. London to Fix Electric Window
Posted: Mon Feb 25, 2008 6:21 pm
The passenger side electric window on the missus' 6N2 stopped working some time ago - only produces clicking sound.
So, having read the DIY for removing the doorcard, I thought I've give it ago. Anyway, all was going well until I was trying to pry apart the electric connector to separate the door card, managed to short circuit the socket (for about 2 seconds)
(started to smoke a little
)
So in the end I gave up and put it all back together again. Now not only does the window not work, there no clicking sound either!
Can someone recommend me a good but cheap garage who will sort this problem out for me once and for all? I'm in north-west London, so somewhere local would be good. Don't fancy getting ripped off by the VW stealers.
Cheers
