£3 tape from halfords, its all over this forum dude!!

Best to warm it with a hairdryer first too so it sticks better.

Yes that stuff, umm I havn't got a ruler on me, but I'm guessing 6mm?

Yeh it's easy mate, as long as you heat the tape up first. that way it sticks really easily and curves round the grill without any hassle!

Yeh I'd be confident in buying 6mm for myself so I'd go with that, 3mm is definately too small, and I can't imagine it being as big as 9mm

True, tape takes two minutes though and you don't have to mask or remove the grill 8)

i got some piping/beading off someone on club lupo its a rubbury type material that in cross section looks kind if like a pea on the end of a stick (sorry i dont have access to any photos at the mo) it has a thin blade type section behind the visible part that wedges in between the edge of the black part of the grill, and the painted part beneath it. i just used a bit of double sided tape to hold it in place. looks very oem and nice! :D

As mentioned it is a solid, impregnated colour rubber that is designed to fill gaps in classic car wings.

It looks like this on the roll in red

and in white

I cut it too length and took some notches out for the grill tabs, before sliding it into the gap....to get the result of my pic.

I did have the tape before, but this wing bead looks better in my opinion.
