as above, squeaks when cornering right and sometimes under/ after light breaking. could it be the wheel bearing? any way to check? or what else could it be? thanks

Also, I had a bolt missing from my BBS wheels (the spilt rim bolts) and it caused a loud squeel.

hhmm I wouldnt've said wheel bearing, sounds more like brake related? Maybe trapped dust, warped disc?

well i suppose it did start around the time i had just had the wheels off to clean the callipers. do you think i might have upset something? cleaned somewhere that should be greased and is now causing the squeak?

Yeh very possibly,

[quote="tegwin"]Are you sure you didnt bend the metal shields around the front disks? Its quite easy to bend them so they catch on the disks....just pull them back out a bit...[/qoute]

Thats what tegwin said on another thread, maybe check that out? (the rest of the info in there is pretty useless to your problem),

Do you not know a garage that will check it for free, with the unwritten/unspoken agreement that if they find the problem you'll get it fixed with them?
