I got my coilovers fitted earlier today.

Went for Eibach Pro Street S and i'm really impressed. I was suprised to see that it had a "made by KW" sticker on the strut so i'm guessing the basic struts and things are the same as KW V1s. I had the KW V1's on my Lupo GTI and i have to say the Eibachs are amazing in comparison; this may be due to the Polo having a slightly longer wheel base, however, the ride quality on the Eibachs is 100% better. Havnt pushed them much yet but road holding is greatly improved now.

Anyway here are some filthy pics, damn thunderstorm this morning. Will get some clean pics soon.

One more thing, how low are you guys on coilovers? I seem to be catching the bolt that holds the arch lining in on the front on the top of the tyre when i go over dips and things. Running 205/40's on a 17 x 7.5 Polo rim so the wheels and tyres should be okay.

Looking good Grapo, the white really goes well with the wheel colour. My GTI is as low as it can go at the rear and About 10mm of thread left on the front.

I do have the rubbing of the arch liner bolt head aswell when going over potholes or speed bumps. I just learned to live with it.

i had the scraping issue in my black one, i took out the screw, sanded it down and replaced it with a shorter screw and went lower

with my fks i had no thread left on the rear, and about 3mm on the front lol

Niice mate, remove the arch lining, roll the arches and slam her some more!

Got a slight clicking noise from drivers side front when i steer, no detrimental effects on handling. Any ideas?

Just out of interest, how much down are the threads on the backs in those pictures?

Also in answer to the rubbing issue, take out the bolt and either tuck the plastic behind the metal tag or trim the plastic back. Im sure this little bolt contributed toward ruining the outsides of my last set of tyres

I believe they are 1/2 a cm from the bottom on the backs, adjusters still in.

Definately got some creaking noise from one of the fronts whilst steering at low speeds. Doesnt make those noises at low speeds in a stright line. Ideas?

its the spring turning mate as your turning, i had this issue with my first set on my red gti, i raised it 3/4 of a turn and it was spot on

luckilly iv never had the issue on the black gti, with the same brand coilovers

So its nothing to worry about?

Will have a play with them during the week, see if i can stop them turning

No its nothing to worry about mate, but very very slight adjustments MAY get rid of it

exactly, no problem, just how some are, as a rule, coilovers do give off noise unlike a conventional shock and spring setup, i uess im just lucky with mine being silent

I want those wheels!
