hey guys, just fitted a set of new pads, keep getting a chopping noise from the pads like they rubbing but when the brakes are pressed the noise is stopped.

my pads have the shims on them too,

has anyone else had this problem.? is it normal?

Its quite normal. The new pads will need a few miles to wear to the shape of the disc and the noise will go!
