alloy fitting trouble (sizes etc)

I just bought some alloys, 195/45/15 tyre size, 4 stud etc. Used to be fitted one a MK3 Ford Fiesta. But to my horror my mate (who fits various car things) upon lining the wheels up after removing my Polo wheel, said they don't fit as the 'stud-holes' are not in line properly. Now i am absolutely gutted as they are nice wheels (see below). I was just wandering is it possible to fit them using some sort of fitting kit? Will Halfords/Motabitz or someone be able to help me? Thanks.

wheels that fit on polo's need to have a 4 by 100 stud pattern and i think ford is 4 by 98. might be wrong but basically its not just if it has the right amount of studs, they have to be the right size
hope it helps m8y

Yeh you could definitely get adapters, don't know where though sorry. Personally I wouldn't bother for those alloys, it's a lot of hassle and they're not that great. There's always cheap alloys going on forums like this one, clubpolo, and edition38. I'm sure you'll be able to find something more suitable and at a reasonable price.
