Right decided to sell up, just gone out and brought myself a golf need the power, the question is do I sell modified or put back to normal,
I had the car nearly four years and its time to move on ,not sure either how much its worth, what you guys think,
list of mods,
bmc, 4 branch manifold, stainless steel exhaust, porsche wheels two sets one winter wheels d90's the other not sure with adaptors, collies think fk, smoothed bumpers, one off leathers, rechipped(guy on clubpolo did it for me) debadged grill with the bonnet done, really small mirrors,delocked handles, think theres more but cant think,but you get the idea,
will have new tyres and mot, just had the gearbox and clutch done and new windscreen,
oh and its black 3 door,88,000miles on the clock

so what you think,

Sounds like a beauty, ask for 5-5.5k I'd say.
However, if you do decide to sell bits off the car, you'll be able to fetch a lot more.

Just from the list:
BMC- 80 quid
Manifold - 50/60 quid
Exhaust - 150 quid at least
Smoothed bumpers - 200 quid
Interior for swap - at least 400 quid
Coilovers - 150/200 quid at least depending on which FKs
Alloys - 300/400 a set

It all adds up.
I really want to see photos after seeing the spec now.

4k for the car without the mods imo. Breaking most of them is the best option.

I'd definitely strip it back down to standard best you can.

If your selling your leather I'd be extremely interested!!!! (is it standard leather?), if needed I have standard GTi interior to go back in

If you decide to go back to standard, looks like I've missed out on the interior but would swap you my standard 150mm driver's side mirror for your 130mm euro-sized "stubby" mirror plus a little cash your way...

I try selling with all the bits first, but I think its worth it, leathers, exhaust porsche wheelsx2 , collies, smooth bumpers, mirrors, s/shelf 6x9s,rechipped , air filter, the list goes on,

my list was hell of a lot longer....

realy not trying to be rude, just want to help you sell.

what would be your price for a pretty much standard car then?

you really cant add up the original cost of mods & sell the car at that price...otherwise my ibiza is worth like 10k...which it clearly isnt...after seeing tomo's go & the spec his had i'd say 4.4.5k, its nearly at 90k at the end of the day & gti's are going for nearly £2000 with 100k miles

well standard ones in autotrader, go from 3500 to 4500 even 5000, and I ve seen polo gti withless miles in a lot worst state ,
