I must say de-wipering is a really easy mod to do. Just be carefull when removing the panel becuase i found 2 of the clips are really sensitive and i managed to snap them :( no biggy though

very nice little mods adam! really tidy things up!
my g/f wants to get rid of her rear wiper on her mk4, whats the best thing to do with the pipe so that you don't get water in your boot?

well you have to use silicone stuff just under the gromit to make it water sealant, so what i did was put a bit of that at the end of the pipe where i cut it off and then wrapped quite a bit of insulation tape around the end aswell. Just incase u knock the swith that lets the water to the back.

Yeh what I did was put some sealant in the end, them folded it back on itself, taped it, cable tied it, then taped it again!

My have been a bit accessive but I know I'm not going to get a wet boot if I press the button by accident! (had it for 5-6 months now and haven't pressed it once).

or you could make a little whole in the grommit poke the water pipe through and spray those annoying pest drivers who get really close to you

not if you clean your car once a week!!

I use it as a sign, if I'm having problems seeing through the window, its time for a clean!!

lol i do like this idea

i think it does look so much better with no wiper and when i notice that it is getting dirty, then i know my car is telling me it wants a clean!

oh and i know there has been confusion over the size of the grommit, i used a 24mm and it fitted fine
