I was thinking maybe this ariel.. does anyone have it?
http://www.awesome-gti.co.uk/store/prod ... 1&xSec=255

Also would you recommend just getting some lowering springs for the moment...?
seeing as moneys abit tight after getting the car and im only a 17 year old student hah

also is there anywhere where i can get a set of mk7 lights or something similar (with the round circle) that will fit my car?

One last question after some new plates as im not to keen on the one on it now, would pressed plates be best? and are the legal? if not what plates?

Sorry for all the questions
Thanks

No newer rear lights will fit. Only alternative is hella LED rears or perhaps conversion kits like some of the members on here have created.

Pressed plates are an iffy topic to touch on. You can get in alot of trouble - namely a £60 on the spot fine if you didnt have another set of plates if you got pulled over.

For the aerial, make sure you read that bit "Note: Radio reception will be impaired, these are designed for looks only.". The enfig/s2000 aerials give a good reception and look good too :)

As for lowering, it depends on what wheels you are gonna stick it on. If its going on 15s, then drop the car 40mm on springs. Thats what i did and it looks great. You can go and do springs and shocks but it really is up to you, and keep in mind how many passengers will be in the car and what you are going to use it for.

Another nice little mod is the GTI front grille. Makes a whole world of difference to the front end of the car and smartens it up :)
