New tank from ebay

Hi all!
On ebay they sell a tank to fit ALL Polos from August 1984 to September 1990.

Would this tank really fit in ALL Polos for that time?

all the tanks are the same for the squareback, coupe and derby i believe! so yeah, should fit! after 1990 the polo went over to injection so a different tank was made to incorporte different pumps etc.
the problem with pattern tanks is they are never as good as the real thing! Not the best fit in the world! But, when i did one on my old mk3, it was £160 from VW and £60 from german, swedish and french!

yeah, well the mk3 one certainly was! Might be worth phoning and finding out exactly how much one is. Just out of interest!

Today, I went in person to the nearby VW dealer and the price has been announced as ...
... 258 Pound Sterling !!!

Just for information, Mk3 polo tank is roughly 50-60 quid depending on discount from gsf
